Vaughan’s 30,193 sq.m (325,000 sq.ft) City Hall was designed by Kuwabara Payne McKenna and Blumberg (KPMB). The building will be proposed for Gold Certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). eomac LAWAPAN STANDARD wood veneered acoustic wall and ceiling panels contributed several LEED credits towards the building’s sustainable design. In addition to the use of all FSC veneer, the acoustic wood panels also contain recycled content, renewable resources and low emitting materials.
